After I explained I really hadn't used this tool all that much, and that SO MANY other people obviously had the same problem, gee-whizzer they ought to give me a new one just because. Well, Dremel offered to sell me a reconditioned replacement for $69, but a new one (which I've already bought) is $99, so thanks but no thanks Ms. Dremel...
I haven't found any replacement governors, the parts people as well as Dremel say 'no longer available'. At $21, I would have bought one...
Any thoughts? I wonder if there's a way to bypass this control and use a rheostat instead?
